Where it started
Keziah grew up watching weddings — the noise, the colour, the ceremony. But the moment that changed everything wasn't the décor or the dancing. It was watching a bride see herself in the mirror for the first time on her wedding morning. That look of quiet recognition — this is exactly me, only more — became the feeling she has spent 12 years chasing.
The craft
She trained formally at Geetanjali Salon Academy and the NARS Artist Programme, then spent years alongside India's senior MUAs on bridal seasons across Chennai, Jaipur, Kerala, and Rajasthan. The Instagram account @makeup_by_kez launched quietly in 2013 — no announcement, no grand plan. One perfectly lit bride photo, and then another, and then another.
The studio today
500 brides later, the work is exactly what it has always been: quiet, deliberate, and deeply personal. Keziah doesn't apply a look. She finds the version of you that you want the world to see on the most photographed day of your life — and then she gets out of the way.
